Pulwama Police Organises Awareness Programme on Disaster Preparedness at DPL

Pulwama, Nov 24: Pulwama Police today organised an awareness programme on Disaster Preparedness and Effective Response at District Police Lines (DPL) Pulwama.

The initiative aimed to enhance emergency response capabilities and equip participants with essential skills to manage crises effectively.

During the programme, DySP DAR Pulwama, along with senior officers, briefed the participants on the importance of disaster preparedness. Subject experts conducted dedicated sessions on risk assessment, early warning systems, first response protocols, evacuation procedures, and the need for coordinated action during emergencies.

These sessions helped improve the participants’ practical understanding of disaster management.

Pulwama Police reaffirmed its commitment to public safety and said similar awareness programmes will be held across the district to strengthen community resilience and preparedness.
