Pulwama Police Intensify Verification of Vehicle Dealers and Fertilizer Distributors to Prevent Misuse

Pulwama, Nov 14: Pulwama Police on Thursday conducted an intensified verification drive across multiple vehicle dealerships and fertilizer distribution outlets in the district to curb potential misuse and strengthen regulatory compliance.

Special teams inspected sales records, stock registers, delivery documents and licence-related paperwork. The verification also focused on end-user details to prevent diversion of vehicles or fertilizers for unlawful activities.

During the inspections, business owners and distributors were instructed to maintain updated documentation, ensure transparent practices and strictly follow legal guidelines. Police said any deviation or suspicious activity would be dealt with firmly under law.

Pulwama Police said such verification drives will continue as part of a broader preventive strategy to enhance accountability and safeguard public interest in the district.
