Pulwama Police conduct court-ordered search in Litter; banned material seized

Pulwama, Dec 6: Acting on a search warrant issued by the Hon’ble NIA Court Pulwama in case FIR No. 24/2024 under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAP Act, Pulwama Police on Saturday conducted a lawful search at the shop of Mohamed Amir Rather, a resident of Litter Pulwama.

Police said the search was carried out in the presence of a Magistrate and independent witnesses to ensure transparency. During the operation, incriminating material, including JKDFP posters and banned literature, was recovered from the premises.

The seized items have been taken into custody for detailed scrutiny. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the broader dimensions of the case and any possible links.

Police reaffirmed its commitment to taking strict action against unlawful and anti-national activities in the district.
