Pulwama Police books a man for spreading anti country sentiment on social media

Srinagar, Jan 15: Police Station Pulwama has registered a case FIR No 06/2022 u/s 13 UAPA, 153 A, 153 B, 505 IPC against Mir Mushtaq Ahmad S/O Abdul Gani R/O Bonora Pulwama for misusing social media platforms by way of carrying out anti-India activities through personal and fake handles.

Police said that the accused was indulging in activites which are pre-judicial to the national security and national sovereignty of the Union of India and UT J&K.
“The accused further advocated unlawful activities, and committed offences which could disrupt the public tranquility and harmony,” he added.
The accused is prima-facie involved in criminal intimidation on social media and is also involved in cyber-bullying.
The accused has been arrested and the investigation into the case has started.
