Pulwama Police arrest drug offender; charas recovered at Khalsa Parigam
Pulwama, Dec. 6: Pulwama Police on Saturday arrested a drug offender during routine naka checking at Khalsa Parigam. The accused has been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Mochi, son of Abdul Rashid Mochi, resident of Khalsa Parigam.
Police said 94 grams of a charas powder-like substance was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No. 281/2025 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at the concerned police station. Further investigation is underway.
Police urged the public to cooperate in its efforts to curb drug abuse and maintain a drug-free society.
