Pulwama Militant Slain In Bijbehara Gunfight Laid To Rest; Thousands Attend Multiple Funeral Prayers

Pulwama: After several rounds of funeral prayers, the slain Pulwama militant who was killed along with 5 militants in Bijbehara encounter on Friday was laid to rest in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Saturday afternoon.

Eyewitness told that since Friday, thousands of mourners including men, women from dozens of villages of south Kashmir reached native village of the slain militant Firdous Ahmad Mir son of Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Machpuna Pulwama to participate in his funeral prayers.

“After multiple rounds of funeral prayers, Firdous was laid to rest, amid pro-freedom, pro-militants and anti-India slogans.”
