Pulwama Administration launched Corona Rath

Pulwama, May 25: District Magistrate Pulwama Dr Raghav Langer today launched a Corona Rath from District Administrative Complex Pulwama here today.

The rath has been launched purposefully to aware the people of the district regarding various precautionary measures to be taken amid COVID-19 pandemic.

The rath will cover various villages of the district in next 15 days.

On the occasion DM said that the District Administration has established 30 containment zones in the district where from COVID-19 positive cases have been detected so far.

He said corona warriors especially Health workers, Municipal officials and Police are tirelessly working at forefront for the containment of infectious disease.

In view of some activities which are permitted to gradually resume, it has become imperative to to launch IEC compaign to sensitize the people about precautionary measures to be taken including maintaining of social distance, frequent hand wash, avoidance of gatherings,and maintaining of personal and community hygiene.

Rath has been made with vivid depiction symbolic of Corona Virus demonstrating the horrible nature and dangers imposed by Corona Virus infection.

Meanwhile pamphlets shall be also distributed among masses to disseminate the information regarding the precautionary measures to be taken amid COVID-19.
