Pulwama admin seized 50,000 litres of Kerosene Oil in Pampore

Pulwama: Continuing the action on illegal storage of PDS Kerosene, tehsildar Pampore has seized around 50 thousand litres of PDS Kerosene Oil in Munpora village during search operations and inspections.

An official spokesperson from the Adminstation said that the case has been handed to Awantipora police for further investigation and action under the Essential Commodities Act.

Meanwhile Assistant Director, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer affairs has been directed to lodge FIR under the relevent sections of Essential Commodities Act.

It is worth to mention that District Adminstation Pulwama has launched a movement against illegal storage of PDS Kerosene oil in which around 1.5 lakh litres of Kerosene oil has been seized in the past few days during inspections led by Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Raghav Langer.
