Pulwama admin held Demolition Drive in Awantipora

Awantipora: District administration in Awantipora have launched a massive demolition drive in Kharmood Awantipora and its adjoining areas and have dismental illegal shops on roadside .

The drive was launched two days after the notice, which was issued to the shopkeepers, asked them to vacate the shops at the earliest.

The shopkeepers have earlier expressed resentment against the authorities for issuing notice without any information, however, no attention was paid towards their pleas.

The drive will be continued for full day, despite bad condition of weather to release state land.

Earlier, a drive was launched on AIIMS road in Awantipora, in which 17 structures were demolished by administration.
