PTTI Vijaypur Organizes Tiranga Rally & Plantation Drive

Vijaypur, 13th Aug 2024: In the lead-up to Independence Day and to honor the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom, the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized a Tiranga Rally and Plantation Drive at the institute. The event began with officers and officials paying tribute to the martyrs at the memorial. Following this, a Tiranga Rally was held as part of the Pre-Independence Day celebrations, aiming to foster national unity and pride.

The rally was inaugurated by the Principal of PTTI Vijaypur, who emphasized the importance of Independence Day and the role of police personnel in maintaining the nation’s unity and integrity. The event started with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by a procession around the institute with participation from the entire staff and trainees.

After the rally, a plantation drive themed “Ek Ped Shaheedin Ke Naam” (A Tree in the Name of the Martyrs) was organized. During this event, various types of plants, including ornamental, medicinal, herbal, and fruit-bearing species, were planted within the institute’s premises. The staff and trainees participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their commitment to environmental sustainability. Key figures in the event included Shri Zia-ul-Haq-DySP (Outdoor), Inspector Surinder Singh (CDI), Inspector Javeed Ahmad (RI), Inspector Ram Lal (CLI), and SI Sulinder Singh (SM-Outdoor).
