Prominent PDP Workers From Charar-E-Sharif Join Peoples Conference

Srinagar: In a major boost to the Budgam chapter of Peoples Conference, a number of prominent and senior political workers from Budgam joined the party today in presence of PC senior leader Shahid Rashid and Distt President Budgam Firdous Farash.

“A number of senior workers from PDP joined Peoples Conference from Charar-e-Sharif pledged their allegiance to the PC, expressing their commitment to strengthen the party at the grassroots level. The new joinees are committed to work with utmost honesty, diligence and passion to bring about a change in the political system of our state that is unfortunately based on the tenets of corruption, nepotism and economic persecution. They also expressed full faith in PC leadership to address the concerns of the people irrespective of their party affiliation, region or religion in order to take the state towards peace, progress and development”, PC spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir said in a statement.

Those who joined include prominent and senior PDP worker Ghulam Mohammad Wani, Youth Block President PDP Farooq Ahmed Parray and Halqa President PDP Mushtaq Ahmed Ganaie.
