Private Schools’ Association Jammu and Kashmir Condemns Terrorist Attack at Pahalgam, Announces School Closure in Mourning

The Private Schools’ Association Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) has expressed shock and sorrow over the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Anantnag, which tragically claimed innocent lives. In response to this heinous act of violence, the association has decided to observe a day of mourning and protest on April 23, 2025 (Wednesday).

As a mark of respect and solidarity with the victims’ families, all private schools across Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed tomorrow. This decision underscores the association’s strong commitment to promoting peace and humanity in the region.

President of PSAJK, G N Var, conveyed his deep condolences, stating, “We strongly condemn the terrorist attack at Pahalgam and stand united with the families of the victims. Closing our schools is a small gesture to express our grief and outrage over this senseless act.”
