Police Station Soura Solved Hit And Run Case
Srinagar: On 26.11.2018, a pedestrian was mowed down by an unknown vehicle at 90 feet road who was brought dead to SKIMS. The deceased was identified as Abdul Hameed Lone s/o Late Ab Ahad Lone R/o Shah-i- Hamdan Colony Ahmadnagar, Srinagar.
During investigating at the accident spot, eye witnesses confirmed the vehicle as 207 Tata mobile white colour . During further investigation Police station soura, scanned the CCTV footages from nearby ATM’s and shops to check the registration number of vehicle, however the footage couldn’t show much in detail.
After indepth investigation, and help from various sources, the police was successful in locating the driver. The accused has been identified as Mehraj-u-din Shalbaf S/o Ali Mohammed R/o Umerhair Buchpora and vehicle registered as JK01M 2575 . The police have taken the accused into custody for further proceedings.
