Police Registers Case, Launches Manhunt After Miscreants Attempt To Desecrate Shrine, Mosque In Tral
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday registered a case under relevant sections of law against the miscreants who attempted to desecrate shrine and a mosque during the intervening night of Thursday-Friday in Tral town of Pulwama district.
“Yesterday night, some miscreants attempted to disrespect the local shrine and a mosque in Dadsara in Tral by damaging windowpanes and also tried displacing the Quran pak in a manner lacking respect. In this regard police has registered a case under relevant sections of law,” the Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a statement.
“Police suspects that this has been done by miscreants to foment trouble and disturb peace and order. Citizens be assured that Police is on hunt and will nab these evildoers and also people behind them. They will be dealt with the heavy hand under the law,” the statement said.
“Besides being put behind bars, all others who have instigated or facilitated such criminals with the motive of disturbing peace by misusing the highly revered symbols of almighty too will lose all government benefits, government employment, licences and permits,” the statement said.
“The full force of the entire government shall be used to detect and punish the perpetrators,” the statement added. — (KIMS)
