Police arrests Four Shopkeepers for selling essential commodities at exorbitant rates in Kangan Ganderbal

Ganderbal: Acting tough against the shopkeeper for selling items on the inflated rates, Kangan police have arrested four shopkeepers for selling essential commodities at exorbitant rates.

Accordingly, case FIR NO. 41/2022 U/S 3/7 E.C, 42/2022 U/S 3/7 E. C Act, 43/2022 U/S 3/7 E. C Act, and FIR NO: 44/2022 U/S 3/7 E.C Act law have been registered at PS Kangan and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.

Police have requested the traders and shopkeepers not to indulge in overpricing, black marketing, hoarding or any violation of essential commodities otherwise strict action under law will be taken against the violators.

General public of the area has hailed the action of Ganderbal police.
