Police arrests drug peddler in Srinagar; Contraband substance recovered

January 31: Srinagar Police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A Police team of Police Station Panthachowk at a checkpoint established at Khanmoh, intercepted a person identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone son of Mohd Sadiq Lone resident of Khanmoh.
During search, substantial quantity of narcotics recovered from his possession.

The accused person has been arrested.
Case vide FIR No. 14/25 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered and investigation initiated.
