Police Arrest Some Individuals Arrested For Posting Sensitive Content Against Religious Sentiments On Social Media

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Srinagar Police on Thursday took cognizance of the incident of posting of sensitive content against religious sentiments of a particular community by some individuals on a Social Media platform.

Police said that they have registered an FIR No. 29/2024 u/s 299, 196, and 353 (2) of BNS in Police Station Shaheedganj in this regard and arrested the accused individuals.

They said states that the common people should desist from spreading rumours, false information and they shouldn’t fall prey to false propaganda of anti-social elements.

The police said that the tegal action shall be taken against those who are found to be involved in provocative act, instigation. — (KIMS)
