Police along with Municipal Council Gbl carried out wild bung destruction drive

GANDERBAL, 03rd, AUGUST 2024: Continuing its efforts to eradicate menace of drug addiction from the society, today on the directions of SSP Ganderbal *Shri Sandeep Gupta-IPS,* J&K Police District Ganderbal carried out Destruction Drive of Wild Bangh cultivation on massive scale in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal.

The Drive was carried out at Bamloora and in its adjacent areas especially on the River Sindh Bank by Police Party led by SHO PS Ganderbal Shri Manzoor Ahmad along with the Municipal Council Ganderbal and Civil Society members. J&K Police District Ganderbal is committed to eradicate dreadful menace of illegal Bangh cultivation from the society and such drives would be continued in future also.

General Public of Ganderbal is requested to come forward with the information regarding the landowners who indulges in large scale poppy cultivation so that they can be dealt as per law.
