PM Modi’s Visit to Srinagar: Authorities Ensure Smooth Arrangements at Bakshi Stadium

Srinagar, March 6: Keeping in view gathering of around one lakh people at Bakshi Stadium to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 7, authorities in Srinagar have left no stone unturned in ensuring seamless arrangements for the event.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has spearheaded extensive efforts to guarantee the comfort and convenience of attendees.
Notably, the corporation has focused on sanitation initiatives and dewatering operations to mitigate any potential inconveniences caused by wet portions of the stadium.
SMC Commissioner Dr Owais told ANN News that all arrangements falling within the domain of SMC has been put on place.
In addition to the SMC’s endeavors, various other agencies and departments have been working tirelessly to put in place comprehensive arrangements for the public gathering.
Security measures have been heightened around the stadium.
Authorities have taken measures for maintaining order and facilitating smooth entry and exit procedures, an official told ANN News.
The event, expected to draw a crowd of around one lakh people, has generated widespread interest and excitement among residents of Srinagar and other districts of Kashmir. Thousands of people are also expected to arrive from different districts to witness the historical speech of Prime Minister who is visiting Kashmir first time after abrogation of Article 370.
As preparations near completion, authorities remain committed to ensuring that the event at Bakshi Stadium unfolds seamlessly, providing an opportunity for the public to engage with the Prime Minister and be the part of this historic event without any inconvenience.
