PDP leader handover relief cheque to Gulshanabad family

Budgam, March 29: Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo on Sunday visited the family of Ab Majeed Dar of Gulshanabad Charar-e-Sharif in district Budgam and handed over relief cheque to them.

The senior PDP leader handed over cheque to Ab Majeed Dar of Gulshanabad village of Budgam as an immediate relief, so that the family can meet their daily needs easily at this time.

Earlier on Thursday, the family had a narrow escape after a protection bund fell on their house due to rains during.

Yatoo met family members, sympathized with them over the damage to their house due to the protection bund and assured them that the party will make all efforts for providing all possible help to the family.

He said that he will also inform local administration to to help the family.

Locals said that, the protection bund was of the same house situated at a higher level. The locals had reportedly complained earlier about the dangers posed by the wall, as it did not have an outlet for rainwater resulting in its weakening and consequent collapse.

Meanwhile, the locals of Gulshanabad appreciated Er Nazir Yatoo for what they said was a first time in years a Party leader has visited the area to personally assess the damage.

Pertinently Govt has been issuing orders every year for the cutting down of these poisonous pollen producing trees that cause allegery, throat infection & cheast infection to the people. (
