Pasbaan-e-Insaniyat Group J&K organized Webinar on ‘Stop Drug Addiction’

Srinagar: Pasbaan-e-Insaniyat Group Jammu and Kashmir organized a Webinar on ‘Stop Drug Addiction’ in which approximately 100 participants joined.

The session was organised by Aijaz Rasool (Treasurer of Pasbaan) and Jaspreet Singh.

The guest speakers of the session were as Dr Sarfraz Ahmad Bhat (Assistant Professor Department of Social Work University of Kashmir), Nawab Mehran Khan (Founder and CEO ELFA International), Advocate Syed Mujtaba (Legal Consultant at Child Guidance and wellbeing centre), Harris Abrar Kashmiri (Senior Child Consultant), Nasir Rahim and Peerzada Azhar (SOS Children’s Village Srinagar).

The speakers highlighted the causes, issues, challenges created by drug menace.

The speakers created awareness regarding the Drug Addiction among the youths and talked about the ways to deal with it.

The Panel made the word that they are ready to help the volunteers who will work to eradicate the curse from society.

Awareness of laws regarding drug Addiction were also highlighted by Advocate Mujtaba and at last Question answer session held in which queries from participants were taken by panelists.

Pasbaan-e-Insaniyat Group provided words of thanks to panelists and participants and has taken the note of this serious problem and expressed concern over it and decided to work for it on the ground level.
