Panthers Party condemns civilian killing

Srinagar, May 13: General Secretary J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Hakikat Singh General has condemned killing of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat.
He also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to give strength to bear this loss.
“This is a total failure/collapse of the administration in protecting the lives of the people especially minorities,” reads the statement.
It added that the recent target killings of minority community is an eye opener for the authorities.
“We are witnessing worst situation after 1990 where an employee is killed in broad daylight inside office. It is heartening and most condemnable the attitude of District administration of Budgam including DC and SP which is a question mark on their functioning as per statement of father of the deceased Rahul Bhat Ji,” it adds.
“We demand high level probe by a sitting judge into this incident so that those responsible are brought to justice,” it reads.
