Panchayat byPolls: Training organised for ROs, AROs at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 18: A supplementary training programme for Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant returning Officers (AROs) for Panchayat by polls was organised, here today.

The training was held under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO),  Rajinder Singh Tara.

Nodal Officer for Training, Dr. Mohsin Raza, imparted training to ROs and AROs about their role and responsibilities, nomination process, scrutiny of nomination papers, withdrawal of candidature, allotment of symbols and provisions of the model code of conduct.

He advised them to go thoroughly through the instructions as provided in the hand book of ROs/AROs.

The DPEO Kishtwar also interacted with the trainees and urged upon the officers to perform their duties with dedication and adhere strictly to the guidelines for the smooth conduct of Panchayat by polls.
