Pakistan Air Force Targets TTP Hideouts Across Afghan Border; Multiple Blasts Reported in Three Cities
Islamabad/Kabul, October 10, 2025 —
The Pakistan Air Force has reportedly carried out a series of heavy airstrikes targeting Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts across the Afghanistan border. According to sources, multiple cities near the frontier were struck in rapid succession, with three powerful explosions heard in Kabul and surrounding areas.
Initial reports suggested that TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud was among those targeted in the strikes. However, Mehsud has released an audio message refuting claims of his death, asserting that he is “safe and currently in Pakistan’s tribal areas.”
Tensions remain high along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border as security forces continue operations against TTP militants following a surge in cross-border terror attacks.
