#PahalgamAttack: Jammu Kashmir Hotels and Restaurants Association (JKHARA) Condemns Killings, Holds Protest in Srinagar
Srinagar, April 23 : The recent killings in Pahalgam, the Jammu Kashmir Hotels and Restaurants Association (JKHARA) on Tuesday strongly condemned the attack and staged a peaceful protest in Srinagar.
Led by the association’s president, Baber Chowdhury, members gathered in solidarity to mourn the victims and express their outrage. Holding placards and chanting slogans, the protesters urged authorities to ensure the safety of civilians and tourists in the valley.
“This is very painful. We strongly condemn this attack,” said Chowdhury, addressing the media. “Such incidents not only take innocent lives but also affect the image and livelihood of the region. We urge the administration to take swift and strong action.”
The association also appealed for communal harmony and emphasized the importance of a peaceful environment for the tourism sector to flourish.
