One individual apprehended also with arms, ammunition in Kulgam: Army
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Indian Army along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a search operation in Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Wednesday and recovered arms and ammunition.
An individual was also apprehended during the operation.
“A joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police at Thokarpura Mohallah in Qaimoh village of Kulgam district on Wednesday (08 January 2025), based on specific intelligence inputs. During the search, one suspected individual was apprehended along with the recovery of one AK Rifle, four AK Magazines, 120 AK Rounds, two Hand Grenades, and other war-like stores,” Indian Army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said in a statement.
