Omar Abdullah Reviews Winter Preparedness in Srinagar
Srinagar: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday reviewed winter preparedness measures in Srinagar and said that all necessary arrangements have been put in place for areas prone to heavy snowfall.
During the review, the Chief Minister assessed the readiness of various departments and stressed the need for timely road clearance, uninterrupted power and water supply, adequate healthcare services, and a swift emergency response during harsh weather conditions.
He directed officials to remain on high alert throughout the winter season to ensure that residents do not face inconvenience during snowfall or cold waves. Omar Abdullah assured that the administration is fully prepared to handle winter-related challenges and safeguard public safety.
