Octogenarian Male Body Recovered From Power Canal In Uri
Srinagar: The body of an 85-year-old man on Thursday was found inside the dam of the Power Project Uri in Baramulla district in northern Kashmir.
The report said that some local residents saw the body of Mohammad Azam Sudan, Fakir Sudan’s son inside a dam in the Dimayar area of Boniyar and immediately told the police about it.
A police officer said that the body was retrieved from the dam and taken to the nearest hospital for medico-legal formalities.
He said that the case under section 174 CrPc had been initiated and further investigation was taken.
