Numbers of officials in JKBOSE don’t return to parent departments

SRINAGAR,  Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has become a destination for number of officials who join the Board and later make extra ordinary efforts to retain the post rather than returning to their parent departments where they are posted.

Sources in the department told Press Trust of Kashmir that posting in JKBOSE is based for almost two years and extension of one more year is given to the officials, but the officials don’t return.

They added that most of the officials put best efforts to remain in the JKBOSE as there are large scale purchases in various sections of the Board.

Sources also revealed that there is huge corruption in various sections as all the private schools have to submit their fee for Board exams.

When contacted Chairman JKBOSE, there was no response to the repeated phone calls
