Non-Local ‘Golgappa Walla’ Shot Dead In Srinagar

Srinagar: A non-local ‘golgappa walla’ was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Eidgah area of Srinagar city this evening.

Sources said that the incident occurred near Eidgah park. The vendor was shot at blank range. He was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Sources identified the deceased as Arvind Kumar of Bihar.

On October 6, a non-local vendor Virendar Paswan was shot dead near Lal Bazar area of Srinagar city. Before that killing, militants had gunned down a medicate Makhan Lal Bindroo on the same evening and shortly after that a Sumo Stand president Muhammad Shafi alias Sonu was shot dead in Shahgund Hajin area of Bandipora.

On the next day on 7 October militants shot dead two teachers Sapendar Kour and Deepak Chand in Idgah Srinagar. (KNT)
