Non-local arrested with 32 KG fukki in Budgam: Police

Budgam: A non-local was on Wednesday arrested by Budgam police at Sonpah Crossing in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district and recovered 32 KG fukki from him.

He used to roam from village to village selling honey, but actually he was smuggling and supplying fukki to his customers.

News Agency KNT quoting Official said, “during naka checking at Sonpah Crossing, a party from Beerwah Police stopped one Harbinder Singh son of Sher Singh, a resident of Ludhiana Punjab and during search of his vehicle (PB10-FW1468) 32Kg fukki was recovered from him.”

A case vide number 269/20 under section 8/15 NDPS Act was registered against the accused at police station Beerwah. (KNT)
