NIA conducts raids at multiple locations in Kashmir
Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths Wednesday raided multiple locations in Kashmir Valley in connection with case FIR no- RC-29/2021/NIA/DLI “hatching of conspiracy for undertaking violent terrorist acts in J-K and other major cities, by cadres of proscribed terrorist organisations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizb-ul-Mujahideen (HM), Al Badr and their affiliates”.
Reliable sources told a local news agency, Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that searches are being carried out in the residential house of Fahad Ali Wani son of Ali Mohammad Wani, a resident of Hamdaniya colony Chanapora and house of Furkaan Imran Khan Son of Mohammad Imran Khan, resident of Govt Housing colony Bagh-e-Mehtab was also being searched by the sleuths of NIA.
They said that the residential house of Rashid Ahmad Bhat son of Bashir Ahmad Bhat resident of Tibetan colony Eidgah was also searched by the NIA team.
Sources further said that currently raids are underway at eleven locations in Kashmir four in Srinagar, 02 in Baramulla, 01 each in Pulwama, Sopore and Kulgam and 02 in Awantipora.
A spokesperson of NIA, according to Kashmir Dot Com, said NIA had arrested 4 accused persons in this case on 13th of this month and identified the four allegedly accused as Waseem Ahmed Sofi r/o Chattabal Srinagar, Tariq Ahmed Dar r/o Shergarhi Srinagar, Bilal Ahmed Mir @ Bilal Fufu r/o Parimpora Srinagar and Tariq Ahmed Bafanda r/o Rajauri Kadal Srinagar.
