Newly Elected Members of SKUAST-Kashmir Non-Teaching Employees Association Take Oath of Office

 

On 19th September 2024, the newly elected members of the Non-Teaching Employees Association at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir) took their official oath of office in a formal ceremony.

 

 

The oath was administered by Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Nazir Ahmad Mir, marking the start of a fresh tenure aimed at representing the interests of non-teaching staff within the institution.

The newly elected association members include:

– President:  Mr. Ab Rashid Bhat
– Vice President: Mr. Abdul Rasheed Ganie
– General Secretary: Mr. Firdous Ahmad
– Secretary: Mr. Shabir Ahmad Bhat
– Public Secretary cum Spokesperson:Mr. Ashaq Hussain Lone

 

 

 

The event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST-Kashmir, Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganie, Prof. Tariq Hussain Masoodi (Registrar), Prof. Haroon Rasheed (Director of Research), Prof. Neelofar (DSWO), Prof. Rehana Habib Kanth (Dean Faculty of Agriculture), Dr. Manzoor Ahmad (Director Finance), and Mr. Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat (Joint Registrar), among others.

 

 

 

 

 

In their speeches, the newly elected members pledged to work diligently for the welfare of the non-teaching employees and the betterment of the institution as a whole. They emphasized their commitment to unity, trust, and dedication, promising to address the concerns of the employees, foster a collaborative work environment, and contribute to the overall enhancement of SKUAST-Kashmir’s operations.
