Motorcyclist killed after hit by truck at Kangan

Ganderbal: A biker was killed after hit by a truck at main market Kangan an area of central Kashmir’s district Ganderbal on Jammu-Leh highway Sunday afternoon.

An official said that a biker identified as Mohammad Ismail Bijard son of Ghulam Nabi Bijard a resident of Baba nagri kangan was hit and critically injured by a truck bearing registeration number JK12F-3017 driven by Parwaiz Ahmad son of Ghulam Rasool Dar resident of Gangarhama Ganderbal.

Soon after the accident, Bijard was rushed to SDH Kangan where doctors Reffered him to SKIMS Soura he was brought dead on arrival.

SHO Kangan, Turk Zahoor talking to this reporter over phone said, The driver of the truck has been arrested and the truck seized by the police, FIR No: 89 has been registered at PS Kangan and further investigation is on. (ANN)
