Mirwaiz Visits Injured Pulwama Students At SMHS Hospital, ‘Prays For Their Speedy Recovery’

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday visited the school students injured in Kakapora on Wednesday at SMHS hospital in Srinagar and enquired about their health.

At least 19 students were injured Wednesday afternoon in an explosion that police sources said was caused by a hand grenade inside a classroom at a private school, in Sirnoo village of Kakapora area in Pulwama district.

All the injured, as per police reports, were stable, though at least five of them were later shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment.

Mirwaiz said that he was pained to see the students in the hospital and prayed for their speedy recovery.

“Visited the injured school children from Kakpora,Pulwama at SMHS. Pained to see them in hospital but thankfully they are recovering well. Duas and best wishes for their speedy recovery. (SIC),” he tweeted.
