Mir Junaid extends greetings on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha
Appeals people to strictly abide by COVID protocol and also pray for peace and harmony.
SRINAGAR, July 31: Jammu Kashmir Workers Party (JKWP) President Mir Junaid today extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha, wishing them well-being, safety and prosperity.
In his message of felicitations on the eve of this auspicious occasion, Junaid said: “Eid gives us the message of love, unity and brotherhood. Sharing happiness increases them. Extending help to the poor and needy will also usher happiness in their lives. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, I appeal the people to observe this festival with utmost caution and abide by the social and health protocols of COVID-19 so as to stop the spread of this deadly disease.”
He said the holy occasion teaches us to maintain high principles of selfless service to the Almighty Allah and humanity and expressed hope that this Eid will strengthen communal brotherhood, harmony and bring peace, prosperity and well-being to Jammu and Kashmir and the people all over the world.
He added that, ” we must all unite for seeking peace from Allah to this motherland of ours. Prayers of peace and harmony are loved by the almighty and our collective prayers are surely going to usher all of us in the era of peace and harmony”.
He also appealed to the people to pray for the end of Covid 19 as he is the giver and taker of health and disease.
