Minor Girl Slips Into Stream In Shopian, Dies
Srinagar, July 13: A 2-year-old girl drowned after slipped into a stream at Shirmal area of Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
Reports reaching GNS said that the girl Hafsa Shakeel Bhat daughter of Shakeel Bhat slipped into the stream which is close to her residential house.
The incident occurred when she was playing on the bank of the stream, they said.
Soon after the incident, the family and neighbours immediately removed her to nearby by PHC where she died later.
A police office also confirmed the death of the child due to drowning. (GNS)
