Minor boy mauled to death by leopard in Handwara village
SRINAGAR: In a tragic incident, a 2-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Sharhama village, Qalamabad, in North Kashmir’s Handwara on Friday evening.
Quoting officials, Rising Kashmir reported that the young boy was playing outside his home in Sharhama when the leopard attacked him, leaving him severely injured. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased child has been identified as Hasnain Nisar, son of Nisar Ahmad Teli, a resident of Sharhama Lach.
