Militants Slain In Shopian Gunfight Identified
Shopian: Two militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants at Hend Satipora village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday morning.
Both the slain militants have been identified as Aadil Bashir Wani, Resident of Waripora DH Pora Kulgam and Javaid Ahmad Bhat, Resident of Redwani Kulgam.
The duo were affiliated with LeT (Lashkar-i-Toiba) militant outfit.
Meanwhile as a precautionary measure authorities have snapped down mobile internet services in Shopian and Kulgam districts in South Kashmir.
