Militants Attack Police Post At Sherbagh, Anantnag; 5 Civilians, 1 Cop Injured

Anantnag (TKW): Five civilians and a cop was injured after militants on Thursday attacked Police Post in Sherbagh area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district by hurling grenade towards it.

The Kashmir Wisdom has learnt that the grenade misses the target and exploded outside, which resulted in injuries to five civilians and a cop.

All the injured persons were rushed to hospital for treatment.

All the injured civilians and a cop were identified as Naaza, Wife of Mohd Ashraf Wani, Resident of Anchidora, Sofia, Daughter of Ghulam Ahmad, Resident of Anchidora, Saheba, Daughter of Haji Ghulam Nabi, Resident of Anchidora, Mohd Hussain Bhat, Son of Mohd Yousuf, and a cop Navinder Kumar

Soon after the attack government forces launched search operation in the area to nab the attackers. (TKW)
