Militants attack Naka party in Baramulla, SPO killed, two CRPF personnels injured
Srinagar, August 17: An SPO was killed, and two CRPF personnels were injured after suspected militants on Monday morning attacked joint Naka party in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A senior police officer told GNS that militants fired upon the Naka party. The fire was retaliated by forces triggering an brief exchange of firing.
During exchange of firing one SPO identified as Muzaffar Ahmad was killed and two CRPF troopers were injured and subsequently shifted to nearby hospital, the officer said.
The officer further said that there are chances of encounter as the militants have been surrounded by forces.
