Militant Module Busted In Budgam, 5 Associates Arrested: Police

Srinagar: Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant module and arrested five associates in central Kashmir’s Budgam.

According to police statement Acting on a specific information, today on 12/02/2020 Budgam police arrested 05 terror associates and seized arms and ammunition and other incriminating material from their possession.

These individuals have been identified as (1) Shahnawaz Ahmad Wani (2)Nasir Ahmad Wani (3) Bilal Ahmad Khan (4) Irfan Ahmad Pathan residents of Gundipora Beerwah and (5) Ali Mohd Bhat resident of warihama beerwah.

On preliminary enquiry it was found that these terror associates are affiliated with Militant outfit ISJK and are involved in providing shelter and logistic support to militants.

In this regard case under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Beerwah and investigation taken up.
