Militant Killings Fallout: Authorities Order Closure Of Educational Institutions In Sopore Tomorrow

Baramulla: Authorities on Thursday ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla tomorrow in view of militant killings.

“All the educational institutions whether Govt or privately run shall suspend their class work tomorrow in the area in view of the prevailing situation as a precautionary measure,” said an order issued by additional district magistrate Sopore.

“All ZEOs, Principals, Headmasters and in-charge educational institutions for information and compliance,” added the order.

Two LeT militants – Owais Bhat and Tahir Dar -both local residents – were killed in an overnight gunfight in Sopore today.
