Militant, CRPF man killed in Srinagar encounter
Srinagar: A militant and a CRPF personal were killed in a brief encounter at Malbagh Hazratbal area in Srinagar city on Thursday night.
The identification and affiliation of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, the government forces including J&K Police and CRPF had launched a cordon and search operation in the area following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile authorities have snapped down mobile internet services in Srinagar as a precautionary measure. (KI)
