Militant, associate held in north Kashmir’s Sopore: police

Srinagar Dec 6: Police along with security forces on Monday claimed to have arrested an active militant and a militant associate in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

As per a police handout, the active militant Towfeeq Kaboo, son of Ghulam Rasool Kaboo resident of Kaboo Mohalla Arampora Sopore and the militant associate identified by the police as Bilal Ahmad Kaloo, son of Abdul Rahman Kaloo, resident of Takiabal Sopore, were apprehended by the police and security forcesin Ningli area of Sopore during a cordon and search operation by a joint team of Police, 52RR and 177Bn CRPF following a tip off.
