Militant arrested in Anantnag: Police
Anantnag: Anantnag Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested an active militant from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police in a statement said, “Police and 19 RR arrested one categorised active Militant Talib Bhat R/O Dehruna in a joint operation at Kapran, Dooru. He was associated with TRF.”
A video clip was released when he joined the TRF. He was recruited by TRF Commander Abbas Sheikh of Kulgam.
“1 Pistol, 1 Pistol Magazine with Rounds and 1 Hand Grenade were recovered from his procession”, statement added.
