MeT Forecasts Dry Weather In J&K Till May 10
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Saturday forecast generally dry weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till May 10.
An official of the Meteorological Department said, “Today, expect generally cloudy weather with light rain and thunder at few places of Jammu and Kashmir.”
“Generally dry weather anticipated with a possibility of afternoon/evening thundershower activity in some places of Jammu and Kashmir from May 5-10,” he said.
“Cloudy weather conditions with light rain/snow in higher reaches at many places, accompanied by thunder activity in few places is forecasted in Jammu and Kashmir from May 11-13,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 11.0°C, Qazigund 10.0°C, Kupwara 9.4°C, Kokernag 8.6°C, Pahalgam 6.1°C, and Gulmarg 3.5°C as the Minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Saturday.
The Winter capital, Jammu recorded 22.1°C, Katra 21.4°C, Batote 13.5°C, Banihal 11.4°C, and Bhaderwah minus 1.1°C as the Minimum temperature in Jammu region.
In Ladakh region, Leh recorded 3.5°C and Kargil 7.6°C as the Minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
