Massive reshuffle in J&K administration, over 200 officers transferred

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — In a massive reshuffle in the administration, the General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Government on Wednesday ordered transfers and postings of 230 officers in the interest of administration.

Among the transferred officers, 206 are Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers, 22 other officers, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer.

According to an order, “Mr. Pardeep Kumar, IAS, Director, Archives, Archaeology and Museums, J&K, is transferred and posted as Secretary in the Forest Department while Mr. Alok Kumar Maurya, IFS, DFO, Social Forestry Jammu, is transferred and posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board vice Mr. Navneet Singh, IFS who shall report to Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment for further posting.”
