Manhandling of resident doctors at superspeciality hospital, Srinagar unacceptable: DAK

Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) in a strong voice castigated the manhandling of the resident staff at Superspeciality hospital, Srinagar.

Dr Suhail Naik, President DAK while commenting to the today’s unfortunate incident at superspeciality wing of Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital said, “its forlorn that we have to fight Covid 19 on one side and defend ourselves from the unruly mob on another side”.

“Doctors are trying their best at this hour of Covid19 pandemic to deliver services with the limited resources & infrastructure and the public have also to understand that some adminstrative issues are not in our hands and should support us in fighting this pandemic rather creating hurdles”.

DAK communicated and took up the matter with Financial Commissioner, Health, Mr Atal Dulloo who assured that the “guilty will be taken to task and such unfortunate incidents will not be repeated in future”
