Man Mauled To Death By Bear While Performing Ablution
Poonch: A 60-year old man was killed in a bear attack at Gali Kalaban area of Mendhar in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday late evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that the bear attacked the man namely Fayaz Ahmed Chounhan (60) son of Ghulam Nabi of Gali Kalaban late today evening.
The incident occurred when the man was performing ablution (wadu) for magrib prayers outside his home.
The bear mauled Fayaz, leading to his on spot death.
SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyar also confirmed the incident to GNS. (GNS)
